Often, the best way to gauge the performance and longevity of ICD and CRT-D devices is to measure how they fare in real-world scenarios. Find out how defibrillators powered by EnduraLife™ Battery Technology stack up below.
Real-World Data from Nearly 230,000 Implants1
Boston Scientific conducted an in-depth analysis on 9,000 patients with Boston Scientific defibrillators powered by EnduraLife Battery Technology and remotely monitored by the LATITUDE™ NXT Patient Management System, which continuously estimates device longevity based on the device programming and observed performance parameters. This real-world data on U.S. patients implanted since 2008 shows longevity estimates of 9.7 to 15.2 years for high voltage transvenous devices.
